Individual Unemployability (TDIU)
Pays at the 100% compensation rate if service-connected disabilities keep you from holding substantially gainful work, even if your combined rating is lower (often 70% combined with one condition at 40%, or one at 60%).
Bring. Work history, tax returns or SSA records, doctor statements that you cannot work.
Timing. File as a claim or supplemental. Back pay can run from the intent-to-file date.
